A motorcycle believed to have been used in the killing of 28‑year‑old gym trainer Vijay Kumar in Delhi’s Aya Nagar was recovered from Tigaon in Faridabad, authorities said on Thursday. The vehicle, linked to the attack that occurred near Hansa Chowk in the Fatehpur Beri area, is now under police investigation.

Police have identified two of the four men involved in the shooting as Ankush and Rohit, alias Fettu, both residents of Aya Nagar. The suspects are thought to have arrived on two motorcycles, fired approximately 15 rounds, and opened fire on Vijay Kumar at around 10 a.m. on Monday. Additional police teams are conducting raids to locate the other two alleged shooters.

Investigators are combing CCTV footage along the route to map the suspects’ movements and determine how the motorcycle reached Tigaon after the incident. They are also analysing call detail records, mobile data and dump data from the area to trace contacts and movements of the identified suspects in the days preceding the murder.

The case is being examined as part of a long‑running rivalry that has involved several high‑profile killings, including the 2025 murder of Arun Lohia and the November 2025 death of dairy businessman Ratan Lohia. Police are probing whether Vijay Kumar’s death is a continuation of this cycle of revenge or stems from a fresh dispute, and are considering questioning other individuals linked to the earlier incidents, including those jailed for the Ratan Lohia murder. Further investigation is ongoing.
