Based on his confession, a total of 33 two-wheelers valued at ₹15 lakh were seized from the accused. The accused had been stealing two-wheelers by using duplicate keys and selling the stolen vehicles in different villages of Periyapatna taluk.

While selling, he would tell the buyers that the vehicle had been seized for non-payment of loans, and the documents of the vehicle will be handed over in the coming days. The accused had stolen vehicles from various police station limits, including nine from Devaraja police station limits in Mysuru city, seven from Hunsur Town police station limits, and six from Nazarbad police station limits in Mysuru city. Additionally, two vehicles each had been stolen from Metagalli, Vijayanagar, and K.

R. Nagar police station limits, and one vehicle each had been stolen from Jayalakshmipuram, Ashokapuram, Krishnaraja, H. D.

Kote, and Holenarsipura police station limits. The detection had been carried out under the leadership of Devaraja police station Inspector Raghu K. R. and Police Sub-Inspector Nagaraj S. by a team comprising Manjunath R.R., Manjunath M.P., Madhukesh H.V., Mahesh Y.T., Manjunath H.R., Sunil Kumar C., Mahesh Kumar N.M., and Shivaraj Kumar, along with Technical Cell staff Kumar and Manju C.M. under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Sundar Raj and Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajendra K.

Mysuru City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar has appreciated the work of the team.
