The 12th edition of the Pakistan Super League is scheduled to run from March 18 to May 2 next year, keeping the expanded eight-team format that was introduced in the previous season.
The dates were confirmed at the PSL Governing Council meeting held in London on September 1, where owners and representatives of all eight franchises were present.
The eight-team structure, which replaced the draft system with a players’ auction in PSL 11, was highlighted by a final at Gaddafi Stadium that attracted 32,461 spectators. In that match, Peshawar Zalmi ended a nine‑year title drought by defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen.
With the calendar set, the league will soon move to key preparatory stages, including direct signings, retention announcements, the trade window and the upcoming players’ auction.
