ACB City Range‑I officials caught Sunitha while she was allegedly accepting ₹4 lakh as part payment of the demanded amount. The tainted money was recovered from her possession. During the operation, officials also found ₹2.5 lakh in unaccounted cash, which was seized along with the alleged bribe money.
The ACB alleged that the officer performed her duties improperly and dishonestly to obtain an undue advantage.
