The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party announced on Saturday a revamped media team, naming 31 state spokespersons and 25 media panellists. The list was released by state media convenor Manish Dixit.
Among the new spokespersons are Dr Sameer Singh, Avneesh Tyagi, Manish Shukla, Naveen Srivastava, Ankush Tripathi, Anand Dubey, Hero Vajpayee and Dr Richa Singh, with several having served on the previous team.
Etah resident Abhishek Krishna Dubey has been appointed state spokesperson. He previously held the post of vice‑president of the Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and is a member of its national executive. Dubey also served as Rajasthan co‑in‑charge for the party’s youth wing.
Himanshu Dubey and Deepak Baghel were named co‑convenors of the media department, while Diwas Chaturvedi and Manoj Trivedi joined the media watch team. The party also announced media convenors and co‑convenors for all six organisational regions of Uttar Pradesh.
