The final phase of the web‑based counselling for admission to B.Pharmacy, Pharm.D, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology courses for the 2026‑27 academic year concluded with an allotment of 10,363 seats out of 10,762 available, giving a 96 % fill rate. After the phase ended, 399 seats remained vacant.
The counselling was held for candidates who qualified in the TGEAPCET 2026 exam. Certificate verification took place on 26 September, and candidates could exercise web options on 26 and 27 September. A total of 16,797 candidates attended verification and 10,669 exercised web options, generating 296,777 options during the process.
B.Pharmacy received the largest share with 8,372 seats, followed by 1,669 seats in Pharm.D. All 51 seats in Biomedical Engineering and 179 in Biotechnology were filled. In Pharmaceutical Engineering, 92 of 94 seats were allotted.
A total of 484 candidates secured seats under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota. Officials directed all successful candidates to pay the prescribed fee by 30 September and to report in person to their allotted colleges by 1 October.
