The Street Vendors Association Nagaland (SVAN) has announced an invitation for street food vendors across the state to apply for a chance to represent Nagaland at the National Street Food Festival, scheduled to take place in New Delhi on December 18 and 19.
The festival, organized by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI), will provide selected vendors with a national platform to showcase traditional Naga cuisine and culinary skills.
Selected participants will receive free transportation and lodging for the duration of the event. To qualify, vendors must hold a valid FSSAI licence, a Street Vending ID Card, and a Street Vending Certificate issued by the relevant Town Vending Committee. Selection will be based on cooking experience and culinary expertise, and the screening process will be conducted by SVAN at its Dimapur head office.
