Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi by emphasizing that India’s presidency has centered on four pillars—resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability—to translate the group’s shared vision into a win‑win outcome for all member states.

Modi highlighted the growing strength of BRICS, noting that the alliance unites diverse continents, cultures, and development paths. He warned that rising global tensions, pandemics, climate disasters, and supply‑chain disruptions affect ordinary people worldwide, underscoring the need for swift identification of challenges and immediate action. To that end, India announced a BRICS Integrated Early Warning System for infectious diseases and new disaster‑management guidelines, while the Logistics Supply Chain Cooperation Framework aims to make supply chains more reliable and resilient.

Under the innovation theme, Modi introduced the BRICS Incubator Network to link startups and incubators across the bloc and proposed a BRICS Startup Innovation Fund to support scalable solutions. He also unveiled the BRICS Network on Digital Agriculture, which will harness AI, geospatial technology, and digital infrastructure to meet farmers’ needs, stressing that technology and critical minerals must be adopted inclusively.

Modi stressed that BRICS cooperation extends beyond governments. He called for active participation from entrepreneurs, farmers, researchers, women, youth, and ordinary citizens, affirming that the bloc’s friendship, partnership, and cooperation should involve all stakeholders.
