A recent surge in rainfall and flooding has led to the temporary bridge over the Dzumha river being washed away, prompting authorities to restrict vehicle movement along the Jharnapani-Molvom/Peren road. The Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur issued a traffic advisory on Tuesday, announcing the restriction on the movement of all vehicles along the affected stretch. This decision was made in the interest of public safety.
The restriction will remain in force until further notice, with immediate effect.
