A 19-year-old first-year MBBS student at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad allegedly died by suicide on Sunday. According to police, the student jumped from a building, resulting in fatal injuries.
The incident came to light when local residents discovered the student’s body in the early hours of Sunday in an area under Uppal police station limits. They immediately informed the police, who launched an investigation into the matter.
Preliminary findings suggest that the student may have been struggling with depression, according to a police official. However, no further details were provided, and no suicide note was recovered from the scene.
