The Niropen Colony Women Organisation (WO) celebrated its 25th anniversary, also known as its Silver Jubilee, on Saturday at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Wokha. The event was held under the theme ‘Lead in Truth.’
Ward 15 Wokha Town Councillor Hapenthung Ezung attended the programme as special guest, while Lotha Eloe Hoho president Thungbeni Ngullie delivered the keynote address. Ngullie also spoke against prevailing social evils, urging people to uphold moral values and integrity in daily life. Additionally, she highlighted the importance of financial literacy, encouraging women to acquire knowledge of financial planning, savings, and investments.
