He urged people from all communities to consider themselves as Manipuris and contribute towards making Manipur a better State. Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel, Chief Secretary, also spoke about the shared responsibility of ensuring care, protection, support, and opportunities for vulnerable sections of society, including women, children, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, widows, and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

During the programme, Khemchand Singh formally launched the Integrated Monthly Pension Processing System. The total fund outlay for the programme was Rs 91,66,50,772, with nearly 2,40,758 beneficiaries receiving assistance. The event reflected the government’s commitment to inclusive development, social justice, and the welfare of every section of society.

The programme was attended by Khuraijam Loken Singh, Minister (Arts & Culture and Tourism); Member of Legislative Assembly (MLAs); Haobam Rosita, Commissioner (Social Welfare); senior officials of the department; staff; beneficiaries and students among others.
