The program featured technical sessions, where experts shared their knowledge on various aspects of farming. Agronomist CK Singh delivered a lecture on the management of acidic soils, sharing practical recommendations for enhancing soil health and crop productivity. Plant protection expert Lakshmipriya Borah explained biological control methods for managing insect pests and crop diseases, encouraging farmers to adopt eco-friendly and sustainable plant protection practices.

Horticulture specialist Dr Abhimanyu Chaturvedi spoke on the scientific cultivation practices of fruits and vegetables, covering improved production technologies, nutrient management, and best agronomic practices for achieving higher yields and better-quality produce. During an interactive session, farmers received guidance from experts on crop management.

As part of the program, quality seeds of garden pea and cabbage were distributed to all participating farmers, sponsored by the Vivekananda Parvatiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, Almora. The initiative aims to promote vegetable cultivation and enhance farm productivity in the region.

The program was attended by 57 farmers from Yuthumbu and Dungse villages of Jang-Thingbu block.
