The NABARD has supported the highest number of GI sanctions and applications, and has supported all types of products, including several ethnic and tribal products.

Dr Rajnikant commended the proactive efforts of the NABARD to promote the state’s unique products. He emphasized the crucial role of GI tagging in preserving traditional knowledge, enhancing product value, and opening up better market opportunities for local communities. The NABARD commended the role of Dr Rajnikanth and his agency in guiding and supporting the NABARD’s efforts in the state towards GI tagging of products.
