Under the direction of president Ritika Jain and project chairperson Isha Jain, the Lions Club of Dimapur (LCD) Elite, District 322D, observed Rohit Mehta Lions Quest Week 2026. The program aimed to promote social‑emotional learning, empathy, leadership and community service among local students.
The week opened at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School with the installation of a Blessing Box titled “Gratitude & Kindness.” Students were invited to donate toys, stationery, books and clothing for children in need. A panel discussion, “Stressed or Angry? Master Your Emotions,” featured Pratik Dutta, Neeta Agarwal and Rashi Jain, and was moderated by Prerna Maheshwari. The session emphasized emotional regulation, healthy communication and responsible digital behavior.
Subsequent activities included a debate on “Does Empathy Come Before Judgement?” an anti‑bullying workshop “Kindness Can Stop Bullying” presented by CA Swati Jain, a financial literacy talk by Komal Jain, and team‑building games designed to foster cooperation and kindness.
The final two days moved to Dayanand Vidya Niketan in Purana Bazaar, where students participated in mindfulness and breathing exercises, a cleanliness drive, and the formal handover of the Blessing Box. Donated items were distributed to children residing in a hostel, reinforcing the spirit of gratitude and service.
The week concluded with participants expressing a renewed commitment to compassion, emotional resilience and responsible citizenship, reflecting the core values of the Lions Quest programme.
