In a move to support the education and training of a promising para athlete, the Paralympic Association of Arunachal (PAA) has facilitated the admission of Beti Wallong to a private school in Itanagar.
Beti Wallong, an orphan from the Puroik community of East Kameng district, is a talented para table tennis athlete who has caught the attention of the PAA with her exceptional talent, determination, and potential. Recognising her abilities, the association has taken the responsibility of supporting her future by providing her access to quality education and structured training facilities.
As part of its commitment to empowering talented para athletes, the PAA will bear Wallong’s educational and training expenses, ensuring that financial or social challenges do not become barriers to her dreams. This move reaffirms the association’s dedication to the welfare, education, and development of para athletes across the state.
The PAA has expressed its gratitude to its chairman, Takam Pario, for his unwavering support, visionary leadership, and continued commitment to the welfare of para athletes. With the association’s support, Wallong is set to receive the education and training she needs to excel in para table tennis.
