IGGC releases inaugural research journal

Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC) in Lohit district has released the inaugural issue of its research journal, titled The Dawnlit Review. The journal was launched by IGGC Principal Dr Kangki Megu on Friday, in the presence of faculty members and students. The Dawnlit Review is a peer-reviewed biannual multidisciplinary open access research journal, available in both online and print formats.

The college considers the journal’s launch as an important milestone in its academic journey. Dr Megu congratulated the editorial team and commended the efforts of editor-in-chief Dr PC Swain and all the members. Dr Swain emphasized the significance of the journal, stating that it serves as a vital platform for sharing diverse knowledge across various disciplines, in line with the National Education Policy 2020’s call for multidisciplinary research.

Dr Swain also advised young faculty members and researchers to undertake innovative research in languages, humanities, management, social sciences, and natural sciences, further enriching the journal’s content and contributing to the academic community.
