A coordination meeting of the Mera Yuva Bharat District Advisory Committee (MYB-DAC) was held at the deputy commissioner’s office in West Kameng district on Friday, with the aim of empowering youths and fostering greater participation in nation-building initiatives. District Youth Officer Atit Solangki briefed the committee members on the objectives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs under Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), highlighting the vital role of youths in nation-building. He informed the members about the MY Bharat platform and explained how young people can register through the MY Bharat app to access various opportunities, participate in government programmes and policies, and contribute their ideas and suggestions towards community and national development.
The meeting focused on devising a comprehensive strategy to mobilise and engage youths across the district, including students of educational institutions, as well as out-of-school and dropout youths. The members deliberated on effective ways to reach out to these groups and encourage their participation in MY Bharat activities. Participants shared their suggestions and inputs on strengthening youth engagement and expanding the reach of MY Bharat activities across the district.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to empowering the youths and fostering greater participation in nation-building initiatives through the MY Bharat platform.
