A tragic accident occurred in Jharkhand’s Simdega district on Thursday, resulting in the loss of three lives. According to police reports, a car collided with a scooter in the Tukupani area under the Thethaitangar police station jurisdiction. The victims, two women and a girl, were traveling on the scooter from Tapudega village to Konmejra when the accident took place.
The driver of a Rourkela-bound car, which was speeding from Simdega, lost control of the vehicle and swerved to the wrong side of the road, hitting the scooter and then crashing into a roadside tree. The three victims were immediately rushed to Sadar Hospital, where one woman was declared dead upon arrival. The girl also succumbed to her injuries, while the other woman was referred to another hospital for further treatment.
Unfortunately, she too succumbed to her injuries on the way, according to the officer. The driver of the car managed to flee the scene.
