A 35-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by her husband in a field in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday. According to police, the incident occurred when the woman, Madhu, was taken to the field by her husband, Sandeep, under the pretext of picking guavas.
Sandeep, a resident of Baral village, reportedly took Madhu to the field on his motorcycle in the afternoon. It was there that he allegedly strangled her. Following the incident, Sandeep surrendered at the Ramala Police Station around 4 pm and confessed to killing his wife.
