The Assam Royal Global University (RGU) is set to launch Deeksharambh 2026, its Undergraduate Student Induction Programme, on July 29. The programme marks the beginning of an enriching academic journey for the university’s newest batch of students and will run until August 16, 2026.
Designed to ensure a smooth transition into university life, Deeksharambh 2026 will introduce students to RGU’s academic culture, values, and the wide range of opportunities available to them. The inaugural ceremony will be attended by senior officials from the Department of Higher Education, Government of India, as well as eminent academicians and Education Ministers from across the Northeastern states.
These distinguished guests will address the newly admitted students, offering valuable insights and advice as they embark on their academic journey. In addition to the Undergraduate Student Induction Programme, which commences on July 29, the Postgraduate Student Induction Programme will be inaugurated on August 5.
Throughout the programme, students will participate in a series of academic orientation sessions, motivational talks, and interactive engagements. They will also be introduced to the university’s academic regulations, student support services, research ecosystem, innovation initiatives, extracurricular activities, and campus life. Furthermore, students will have opportunities to interact with the university’s leadership, faculty members, senior students, and distinguished guests, providing a comprehensive and enriching experience.
