Tingong Wangpan, a leading para athlete from Arunachal, has been selected by the Paralympic Committee of India to represent the country at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix, 2026, in Tlaxcala, Mexico. Wangpan will compete in the men’s T35 200m and 400m sprint events, going up against some of the world’s top para-athletes. The Paralympic Association of Arunachal announced his selection in a recent release.
The association has extended its best wishes to Wangpan for the event, which is being held from 16 to 24 July.
