The station now features a double-height air concourse, heavy steel platform roofing, slip-resistant flooring, energy-efficient LED lighting, improved connectivity through entry points from both sides of the city, and two new Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) with widths of 6 meters and 9 meters.

Each of these stations has been equipped with modern amenities, including improved waiting rooms, modern toilet blocks, vitrified flooring, contemporary ceiling finishes, air-conditioned waiting rooms, drinking water coolers, and furniture on platforms and in waiting halls. The stations have also been upgraded with new platform shelters, Foot Over Bridges, and improved circulating areas.

The redevelopment of these stations is expected to enhance passenger convenience and provide a better travel experience. The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is a significant step towards modernizing India’s railway infrastructure and improving the overall quality of service.
