Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 25th anniversary of his tenure as head of government, praising the leader’s dedication, development focus and commitment to human welfare.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Fadnavis noted that India’s economy has risen from the “Fragile Five” to the “Top Five” during Modi’s 12‑year period in office. He highlighted the prime minister’s continuous service, first as chief minister of Gujarat for three terms and then as prime minister after three Lok Sabha victories.
Fadnavis pointed out that 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty, describing it as a significant achievement. He quoted the slogan “Viksit Bharat by 2047” and reaffirmed the resolve to “do it” in pursuit of a developed nation.
On behalf of Maharashtra, Fadnavis said the Seva Sankalp Yatra would continue and reiterated the commitment to building a developed India by 2047, ending with the pledge: “We will build a developed India in 2047. We will do it.”
