Hyderabad, September 30 – A 34‑year‑old woman was found dead in a hotel room, police said, and the man with whom she was staying is suspected of fleeing the scene.
The victim, who worked as a bank customer‑care executive, was discovered in the hotel room on Tuesday with injury marks on her body, a senior police official confirmed.
Both the woman and the man, who hail from Vikarabad district, were in a relationship. They had checked into the hotel and stayed there for several days. The man left the hotel in the early hours of Tuesday, after which the woman’s body was later found in the room.
A murder case was registered against the man at SR Nagar Police Station following a complaint filed by the victim’s brother. Police are searching for him; once apprehended, authorities will investigate the motive behind the killing. The investigation is ongoing.
