Commissioner of Police (CP) Amritsar Harmanbir Singh Gill stated that the police arrested Darshan Singh and Satnam Singh, recovering two illegal pistols from their possession. Based on their disclosures, two associates, Mahabir Singh and Lovepreet Singh, were also arrested, and four more pistols were recovered.

The arrested individuals have previous criminal cases registered against them, including cases under the NDPS Act and the Arms Act. In a second operation, the police apprehended Harman Singh, Narinder Singh, and Karan Singh, recovering 3.5 kg of heroin, one pistol, and Rs 12.10 lakh in cash.

In another major operation, police teams arrested Gurjant Singh and Gurpreet Singh, recovering 5.01 kg of heroin, one pistol, and Rs 85,000 in cash. Both accused are brothers and were allegedly involved in the illegal trafficking of heroin.
