The fourth World Hindu Congress will take place in Mumbai from December 18 to 20, 2026, with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat slated to deliver the opening address, organisers announced on Thursday.
The congress adopts the theme “Samanam Vratam Saha Chittam – Shared Commitment, Collective Resolve” and aims to give Hindu leaders and institutions a global forum to connect, deliberate and collaborate. The three‑day event is expected to host more than 4,000 delegates from over 60 countries, including scholars, professionals and representatives of various Hindu organisations.
Key programming will include more than 45 sessions featuring over 150 speakers. Four special plenary sessions will focus on dharma, samaj, vishwakarma and bhasha. The dharma plenary will bring together spiritual leaders from diverse religious traditions to discuss its contemporary relevance. The samaj plenary will address social cohesion and community development. The bhasha session will examine linguistic diversity and the role of language in preserving cultural heritage. The vishwakarma plenary will highlight skills, entrepreneurship and the contributions of artisans to economic development.
The congress will also launch the inaugural World Hindu Expo to promote trade and commerce. Confirmed participants include Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
