A third occupant, also a woman, went missing and her status remains unconfirmed.
Earlier, in Tamenglong district, militants attacked a village at Tollen Kuki, killing a woman and injuring her husband and youngest son. The attack was carried out by suspected militants, and the deceased woman was identified as a resident of Tollen Kuki.
In the aftermath, armed miscreants set fire to three to four houses in Khedaghar village, a Naga community in Jiribam district, around 6:30 pm. No casualties were confirmed.
