Savitri, a 40-year-old former sex worker, sits in her older daughter’s room, where one corner is covered with maps and math formula sheets. Savitri recalls when she began hating her profession as a sex worker. It was when her daughters turned five and seven, and she made a firm decision that they would never live the life she had.
She was determined that they would live with dignity.
