A tragic incident has unfolded in Raipur, where a 50-year-old man allegedly took his own life after killing his wife and three children. According to police, the man, identified as Sajid Ali alias Sajju, was found dead by hanging on Saturday. The incident is believed to have occurred on Thursday at the family’s residence in Sanjay Nagar.
Sajid lived with his wife, Rabia Bano, 45, son Irshad Ali, 20, and daughters Shahida Begum, 15, and Irshaba Parveen, 12. The family’s house had been locked since Thursday, raising suspicions among neighbors and family members. It was not until Friday that the police were alerted, and upon breaking open the door, they discovered the bodies of Sajid’s family members.
The police investigation revealed that Sajid had allegedly murdered his wife and children before taking his own life. Assistant Police Commissioner Navneet Patil stated that the motive behind the incident is currently being probed. Authorities have not found a suicide note at the scene, but they are examining Sajid’s mobile phone for potential leads.
