Gangster Rohit Godara's Home Demolished in Bikaner

A significant portion of gangster Rohit Godara’s ancestral home in Bikaner’s Loonkaransar was demolished by unknown persons, according to Rajasthan Police. The incident occurred overnight, with no one present at the home at the time. Local residents claimed they had no knowledge of how and when the action was carried out, citing the distance between their hutments and the potential drowning out of noise by air coolers.

Loonkaransar Circle Officer Ranveer Singh stated that police received information about the incident at around 9 am and found significant damage to the property, likely caused by a JCB machine. The police are currently analyzing CCTV footage and other evidence to identify and track the individuals responsible for the demolition. The Godara family, including Rohit’s parents, Sant Das and Gita, and his brother, Hanuman Swami, and Hanuman’s wife and children, used to live in the house.

However, none of them were present at the time of the demolition, with Godara’s parents and brother currently lodged in jail in different extortion cases. Rohit Godara is reportedly absconding in Azerbaijan. Hanuman’s wife had left the home around 10-12 days ago with her children, asking neighbors to take care of the crops in their absence.

The police are waiting for a report before taking further action. The incident comes after Rohit Godara’s name was linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate and global crimes by the US, which had designated him as the European leader of the Lawrence Bishnoi enterprise. Last week, Godara’s name figured in Operation Hardball, a coordinated action against Indian crime syndicates by law enforcement from the US, Canada, and Europe, leading to the arrest of 24 people connected to a series of crimes, including Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s assassination, according to the US Department of Justice.
