A joint operation by the Assam Rifles and the police in Tirap district resulted in the arrest of an NSCN-K (Ang Mai) operative. Security forces carried out a well-coordinated ambush, leading to the successful arrest of 32-year-old Langsom Losu, alias Gangsa, a resident of the area.
A 7.65 mm pistol, a magazine, 10 live rounds of 7.65 mm ammunition, and a bag were recovered from his possession. The arrested individual and the seized items have been handed over to the police for further interrogation and legal action.
