Radiohead announced a 2027 tour that will bring the band back to Australia for the first time in 15 years, with 16 shows across Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
The itinerary begins on 3 May at Perth’s RAC Arena with four performances, followed by six shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and the remaining shows at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena. The tour also includes five concerts in Japan at the GMO Arena Saitama near Tokyo.
The band last toured Australia in 2011 after the release of The King of Limbs, although frontman Thom Yorke performed solo shows in 2024. During a Melbourne gig, Yorke walked off stage after a heckler, only to return for the final song, “Karma Police.” Radiohead reunited last year for a string of shows in European cities and has not issued a new studio album since 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool, yet demand for tickets has surged.
Fans can register for tickets through an online portal operated by co‑promoter Frontier Touring, which opened Monday evening. Registrations will be treated equally, with no advantage to early sign‑ups, and a maximum of four tickets per city. The portal closes on Thursday at 5 pm AEST; successful registrants will receive further instructions the following day and will have the chance to purchase tickets next week.
