Kerala Revised Budget 2026-27: Key Highlights

- Oommen Chandy Health Insurance Scheme: A health insurance scheme with a preliminary allocation of Rs. 10 crore, offering support worth Rs. 25 lakh to each family.
- Kerala School of Planning, Architecture and Design: A new institute to be established under PPP mode, offering UG and PG courses in architecture and design, and PG course in urban planning.
- JC Daniel Film City, MT Cultural Park, and Johnson Music Academy: New initiatives announced, including a film city in Kochi, a cultural park in Kozhikode, and a music academy in Thrissur.
- Urban Growth Mission: A mission to be implemented, with Rs 100 crore earmarked for urban development.

- One Kerala Karuthal Mission: A mission to support people facing extreme poverty and unable to meet expenses for serious diseases and children’s education.
- Invest Kerala Cell and MSME Growth Scheme: A data-based, single-window Invest Kerala cell to be formed, and a growth scheme announced for MSMEs, with Rs 100 crore allocated.
